ARSENAL have been urged to offload Mesut Ozil if Unai Emery continues to omit the playmaker.
The German has not played since the Boxing Day draw with Brighton.
Ozil did not “deserve” to be in the squad to face West Ham last week according to the Gunners boss.
Currently the North Londoners’ best paid player on £350,000-a-week, the ex-Real Madrid man has reportedly been offered to Juventus and Inter Milan.
Despite only signing the new deal 12 months ago, club officials want his massive wages off the pay roll.
The increase has forced the club to allow Aaron Ramsey to leave and former goalkeeper David Seaman says the club risk an internal incident if Ozil’s future is not settled.

He told talkSPORT: “There something really weird going on and I don’t think we’re getting the full story.
“It doesn’t look good. He’s the top-earning player at the club and he’s just not doing it.
“He’s not even doing it when he’s actually on the pitch as well, he’s not playing brilliantly.
“That can cause a lot of problems, especially with the amount of money he’s getting. It’s almost double what everybody else is doing, if not more in some cases.
“It can cause problems because the guy who is getting the most money is supposed to be the guy who is setting the example.
“He’s the best player at the club and you want to see that.
“But when you see that he’s not doing it, and he’s not doing regularly it breeds a little bit of discontent.
“The players get the hump with you.”
The long-term future of Ozil could become clearer in the coming weeks as Arsenal face a defining period in the campaign.
On Saturday, they host Chelsea where a defeat could see them slip nine points off the Champions League places.
Manchester United are then the visitors in the FA Cup fourth round on January 25.
Cardiff City then arrive in the final game before the transfer window slams shut.
